Crystal Palace’s management believes that with Glasner as head coach, the club will continue towards its ambitious goals.
Details: Journalist Pete O’Rourke reports that Crystal Palace is preparing a new contract offer for their 51-year-old Austrian head coach, Oliver Glasner.
The club’s leadership values Glasner’s accomplishments so much that they are willing to put aside any tension between them. A key incident was when the transfer of Marc Guehi to Liverpool fell through after Glasner indicated he might resign if the defender was sold.
Since taking over in February 2024, Glasner has led Crystal Palace in 67 matches, achieving 32 wins, 20 draws, and 15 losses.
His major successes with the club include winning the FA Cup and the English Super Cup.
Reminder: Crystal Palace’s head coach threatened to resign if Marc Guehi was transferred.
