Crystal Palace is looking at Coventry City manager Frank Lampard as a possible replacement for Oliver Glasner.
Glasner has decided to leave Selhurst Park when his contract ends this summer.
The Austrian has expressed dissatisfaction with recent player sales and recruitment. However, discussions have led to him staying at Palace until the current season concludes.
With a successor needed, Lampard has become a candidate, according to talkSPORT. The 47-year-old has improved his reputation at Coventry after previous tough spells at Chelsea and Everton.
Last season, he brought Coventry from 17th place after taking over in November to the play-offs in the second tier.
This season, Coventry has continued to thrive and currently leads the Championship with an eight-point lead over Ipswich. The club aims to return to the Premier League for the first time since 2001.
Chairman Steve Parish is reportedly a strong supporter of Lampard, but other potential candidates include Iñigo Pérez from Rayo Vallecano and Pepe Bordalás from Getafe.
