The club is facing more challenges.
Crystal Palace’s connection with UEFA has become more tense after their drop from the Europa League to the Conference League. The situation worsened with recent decisions from UEFA that have affected the club.
Details: During their playoff match against Norway’s Fredrikstad, Crystal Palace fans displayed a banner that read “UEFA – mafia,” featuring the organization’s logo and euro symbol. This banner was also seen during the English Super Cup match against Liverpool and again in the Premier League opener against Chelsea.
In response, UEFA fined the club €10,000, claiming the banner damaged the organization’s image and included messages inappropriate for a sports event.
Reminder: In the Conference League group stage, Crystal Palace will compete against Dynamo Kyiv, AEK Larnaca, AZ Alkmaar, Strasbourg, Shelbourne, and KuPS.
