Crystal Palace booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals after beating hosts Fulham 3-0 in the last eight at Craven Cottage on Saturday (29.3.2025).
Goals from Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Eddie Nketiah saw Oliver Glasner’s side through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Also in the FA Cup quarter-finals, Brighton and Hove Albion face Nottingham Forest, Preston North End take on Aston Villa and Bournemouth host Manchester City.
All three FA Cup quarter-final ties were played on Sunday (30/03/2025).
Crystal Palace broke the deadlock at Craven Cottage in the 34th minute through Eberechi Eze. The England winger found the back of Marco Silva’s net after latching on to a through ball from Tyrick Mitchell.
The visitors doubled their lead just four minutes later after Ismaila Sarr also broke through the home goal, which was well-protected by German goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Sarr scored her team’s second goal after latching on to a pass from Eberechi Eze. The score remained 2-0 until the end of the first half.
After scoring twice in the first half, the Crystal Palace players became increasingly desperate for a third goal. That ambition was finally fulfilled as the game entered the 75th minute. Eddie Nketiah, who replaced Jean-Philip Mateta in the 70th minute, put the visitors 3-0 up after latching on to a pass from Japan international Daichi Kamada.
It was 3-0 for Crystal Palace for the rest of the game. They also booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals.
