Crystal Palace hosts KuPS at Selhurst Park this Thursday night, with a victory potentially securing their place in the Conference League Round of 16.
Oliver Glasner’s team is juggling European commitments alongside a busy domestic schedule. The manager has indicated that player rotation will be critical, especially with a Premier League match against Leeds United just 48 hours later.
Palace aims to improve their disappointing home record, having gone three games without a win at Selhurst Park. Fortunately, they are up against a Finnish team that has struggled to score away, making this an ideal opportunity to secure automatic qualification.
Unfortunately, Oliver Glasner is dealing with another injury setback. Daichi Kamada is out for up to 10 weeks due to a serious hamstring injury from the match against Manchester City. Additionally, Daniel Muñoz, Cheick Doucouré, and Chadi Riad remain unavailable.
With this busy schedule, younger players and those on the fringes may see significant playing time. Youngsters Dean Benamar, Mofe Jemide, and George King have trained with the first team. However, the expected lineup still includes a core group of experienced players. Despite concerns over an ankle issue, Ismaïla Sarr is likely to be included in the starting XI. Eddie Nketiah is expected to lead the attack, supported by Yeremy Pino.
Crystal Palace predicted XI: Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Guéhi; Clyne, Wharton, Hughes, Sosa; Sarr, Pino; Nketiah
The Conference League match at Selhurst Park is set for Thursday, 18 December 2025, with kickoff at 8:00 pm GMT.
In the UK, the match will be live on TNT Sports 1, starting coverage at 7:30 pm GMT.
