Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has commended the bravery and strength of Liverpool’s players, who continue to perform well despite the tragic death of Diogo Jota.
Details: Maresca, who faced a similar tragedy during his playing days when his Sevilla teammate Antonio Puerta passed away shortly after a match in 2007, expressed his respect for how Liverpool has managed their loss.
“Playing against them isn’t any easier now just because they dropped points. They remain a very strong team. Their performance this season is impressive, especially after the tragedy with Jota,” Maresca commented.

The Portuguese forward passed away in a car accident in July, just weeks after helping his team win the Premier League title.
