Dani Olmo officially leaves Spain’s national team camp due to injury
La Roja to play without their midfielder.
Spain will compete in two World Cup qualifying matches, but they will be without one of their important players — Dani Olmo.
Details: The national team’s press service has officially confirmed that the Barcelona midfielder has left the squad. Olmo arrived at camp with muscle fatigue, and despite some hope for a quick recovery, additional medical evaluations showed he is still injured.
He is heading back to Barcelona and will miss Spain’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers. La Roja will face Georgia on Saturday, October 11, followed by a match against Bulgaria on Tuesday, October 14.
Moreover, Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams, and Dean Huijsen will also be absent from these fixtures.
