The 16-year-old midfielder caught attention with his standout performances at the UNIFFAC U17 Tournament, which serves as a qualifier for the Africa Cup of Nations. He was named the tournament’s best player, solidifying his reputation.
Among several clubs interested in him, Saint-Etienne has reportedly succeeded in convincing Mimbang to join their ranks. According to Cameroonian sources, he is set to sign with the French club. Mimbang plans to leave Cameroon for France this Sunday, April 12. Upon his arrival, he will settle in before finalizing his contract.
