Orlando Pirates are reportedly looking to sign Andre de Jong from Stellenbosch FC before the transfer window closes at midnight on Monday.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder has scored 16 goals and provided 11 assists in 103 matches for Stellenbosch. Known for his strong work ethic, he plays as a number 10 and creates opportunities for his teammates.

According to Lorenz Kohler from iDiskiTimes, Stellies’ CEO Rob Benadie mentioned that the deal could happen soon as the transfer deadline approaches. “No, that deal is not done yet, it might be done in the next few hours,” Benadie stated to iDiski Times.
“But it’s not done yet and we’re hoping that he stays with us,” Benadie added.
If he joins the Pirates, De Jong will face competition from Sipho Mbule, Patrick Maswanganyi, and Kabelo Dlamini for the number 10 position.
