De la Fuente's headache: Dean Huijsen leaves Spain squad due to injury
A setback for the Spanish national team.
Modern football puts a lot of pressure on players.
Details: It has been announced that 20-year-old Spanish defender Dean Huijsen from Real Madrid will miss Spain’s next two matches due to muscle fatigue.
He will return to Real Madrid for tests and evaluation by the club’s medical staff. Huijsen is expected to recover within two weeks.
Spain will play their World Cup qualifying group matches against Georgia and Bulgaria. The game against Georgia is set for October 11, while the match with Bulgaria will be on October 14.
Currently, De la Fuente’s team leads the group with six points from two matches, having scored nine goals and conceded none.
