Serhou Guirassy’s future at Borussia Dortmund is uncertain. The striker plans to leave the club next summer and is already thinking about the next phase of his career, as reported by Bild.
Even though he has a contract until 2028, Guirassy wants to move on for sporting reasons and is open to offers. Several clubs are interested in the 30-year-old, including Fenerbahce, Milan, various Premier League teams, and clubs from Saudi Arabia.
A potential challenge for Dortmund is the €35 million release clause in Guirassy’s contract, which can be activated as soon as this summer.
With the possibility of losing their key player, Dortmund is already looking for replacements. One option is Nicolo Tresoldi, who has been performing well since joining Brugge from Hannover. Another candidate is Fisnik Asllani from Hoffenheim, who reportedly has a release clause of around €30 million and is familiar with Dortmund’s current sporting director.
