Dladla is focused on completing his Caf qualifications before considering a permanent role.
People might expect Pitso Dladla to discuss his interest in the Durban City coaching position.
He could point out his success in leading the Kwa-Zulu Natal team to the Nedbank Cup final.
They secured a 1-0 victory against Casric Stars at Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday.
However, the interim coach is prioritizing his academic development over a permanent appointment at the club.
Currently, City is performing well, sitting fifth in the PSL table, with a strong chance of finishing in the top eight and competing for the Cup against TS Galaxy.
“That question always comes up, but I’m unsure how to respond because it’s obvious,” Dladla stated.
“I want to clarify things to avoid misunderstandings.”
“I have personal goals as a coach that I aim to achieve, and I’ve acknowledged that I’ve missed chances to pursue my CAF license due to my commitments to the team.”
“I am waiting for that opportunity, and that is my priority right now.”
