The head coach shares his thoughts.
Durban City, new to this season’s Betway Championship, is looking for new players, especially in the attack. Head coach Gavin Hunt has spoken on the transfer rumors.
Details: Hunt stated, as reported by iDiski Times, that he has left the decision-making to the management. The club is interested in former Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa, and Hunt was asked if this deal is completely off the table.
Quote: “I’ve left it for management to decide. I don’t interfere. I can only do what I can,” said the Durban City coach.
Hunt acknowledged the need for new signings. Currently, Durban City has 17 outfield players and three goalkeepers, so they need to add one or two new players in specific positions.
Reminder: The official Orlando Pirates website reported that some team members were involved in a road accident on Sunday evening.
