Second signing for the Ukrainian champions.
While the transfer window has closed for major leagues, clubs in smaller competitions can still sign players, including those in the Ukrainian Premier League. Dynamo Kyiv, the reigning champions, has made their second transfer of the window.
Details: The White-Blues have announced the signing of defender Aliou Thiare from French club Le Havre. The transfer fee has not been disclosed, but Transfermarkt values it at approximately one million dollars. The 21-year-old Senegalese player has signed with Dynamo until 2029.
Background: Thiare started his football career in Senegal before joining Le Havre in 2023. He did not make his senior debut there and played for the reserves, along with a loan spell at Nancy last season. In France’s third division, Thiare made 29 appearances and recorded two assists.
Thiare is the second summer signing for Dynamo, following the addition of Flamengo youth winger Shola Ugundana. Previously, the Kyiv club sold striker Vladyslav Vanat to Spanish team Girona.
