Flying Eagles Eye Colombia Test After Saudi Win
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles are preparing for an important match against Colombia in their final Group C game at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Midfielder Daniel Daga stated that the team is concentrating on the Colombia match, which will decide their chance to advance. After losing to Norway in their first game, the team rebounded with a 3-2 win over Saudi Arabia on Friday.
Despite this victory, Nigeria remains third in the group with three points from two games. To move on without depending on other results, the seven-time African champions need to defeat Colombia.
“The next game is against Colombia, and we are hoping to get another victory so we can move to the next stage,” Daga, who plays for Molde in Norway, told FIFA.com.
