In addition to solid defending, Edmond Tapsoba has shown impressive attacking skills this season. He marked his presence again on Saturday, April 4, during matchday 28 of the German Bundesliga against Wolfsburg. In a thrilling game, Tapsoba scored in the 68th minute, putting Bayer Leverkusen ahead with a 4-3 lead. This goal is his fifth of the 2025–2026 season, and he has also provided two assists.
Among Europe’s top five leagues, no centre-back has matched Tapsoba’s performance this season. The Burkinabe defender is clearly having the best season of his professional career.
