Elanga Supports Howe in Reviving Newcastle’s Season

Anthony Elanga believes Eddie Howe can improve Newcastle United’s season.

Newcastle has faced challenges in the Premier League this year, currently sitting 10th and nine points away from Champions League spots.

Recently, the team has shown some progress, winning two away matches against Tottenham and Aston Villa in the FA Cup, boosting their confidence.

All eyes are now on Europe as Newcastle prepares to compete against Qarabag in the Champions League play-off round. Ahead of the first leg this evening, Elanga mentioned that Howe has significantly uplifted the team’s confidence and morale.

“He’s given us a lot of confidence and helped every one of us,” the winger said at a pre-game press conference.

“We recognize that we haven’t been perfect. There have been times we’ve played well, and consistency is key. If we can stay consistent, I believe we’ll see positive results.”
