Details: As reported by the DailyMail, in the first half, the match was temporarily stopped when fans directed lasers at the visiting players, impacting their focus on the game.

The incident occurred shortly after England took a 2-0 lead, with goals from Harry Kane and Noni Madueke, the latter being his debut goal for the national team. Frustration among Serbian fans grew, and England defenders Reece James and Ezri Konsa were targeted by laser pointers.

The referee intervened, pausing the match, which led to even more unrest in the stands. Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson noted on BBC Radio Five Live that the laser beams were clearly visible on Konsa’s shirt, prompting the stoppage.
