When we can expect to see the player back on the pitch.
Cole Palmer has been out due to an injury, missing two Premier League games and some international fixtures with England. Chelsea‘s head coach has updated on his recovery.
Details: In a recent press conference, Enzo Maresca mentioned that Palmer has resumed training with the team, but the club is being careful to prevent any setbacks. He highlighted the need to manage Palmer’s workload and ensure he gets enough rest.
Quote: “Cole participated in part of training for the first time yesterday. We have another session this afternoon, and we’ll try to include him, otherwise he’ll miss out again. Once he’s ready, we’ll need to monitor his playing time due to the number of matches,” Maresca said.
The Chelsea manager also shared some disappointing news: 22-year-old forward Liam Delap is expected to be out for 10 to 12 weeks due to his injury.
Reminder: Chelsea will face Brentford in their Premier League Matchday 4 matchup. Here’s what you need to know about when and where to watch the game.
