Chelsea faces major setbacks in attack.
The situation is more serious than first thought.
Details: Chelsea’s head coach Enzo Maresca has shared disappointing news, announcing that 22-year-old striker Liam Delap will take 10 to 12 weeks to recover from his injury.
This means he might miss the rest of the year, with his return depending on how well he heals.
Delap got injured in the 12th minute of the match against Fulham and could not continue. Shortly after, reports indicated he suffered a hamstring injury. While early assessments suggested a quicker recovery, further tests showed the injury was more complicated.
Maresca noted that this is a significant setback, which could heavily affect Chelsea’s attacking lineup, especially following Nicolas Jackson’s recent exit.
