Everton are interested in signing Manchester City left winger Jack Grealish next season. Liverpool’s rivals are interested in taking Grealish on loan, who has fallen out of favour with Pep Guardiola’s team.

Competition for Jack Grealish also comes from last season’s Italian Serie A champions, Napoli. However, The Independent reports that Everton are confident they can land the 29-year-old.

Jack Grealish’s reason for not wanting to move to Italy is that he still wants to stay in England, specifically in Cheshire, his northern hometown. Furthermore, he already has a child with his partner, Sasha Attwood.

Given this situation, Everton could make it happen by allowing him to stay in Cheshire. Furthermore, joining the Toffees would offer him a new experience in his career.

Everton manager David Moyes is also ready to welcome Grealish and begin building his squad for next season. The former Manchester United manager will give his target player free play.

“Grealish’s playing freedom was a complaint during his time under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. The former Aston Villa player is truly a free player who cannot be restricted tactically,” wrote The Independent.

That’s what led to Grealish starting to be left out by Pep Guardiola. He was even left out of this year’s Club World Cup in the United States, suggesting he might soon find a new team next season.

Last season, Grealish played 32 games across all competitions. According to Transfermarkt, his appearances were significantly lower than in his second season at Manchester City.

The 1.80-meter-tall player played 50 matches across all competitions in the 2022/2023 season, making five appearances and providing 11 assists.

It’s worth noting where Jack Grealish will play next season. Will he accept Everton’s offer or move to another team?
