Everton’s Grealish Set for Three-Month Absence Due to Injury

Jack Grealish is likely to be out of action for about three months due to a stress fracture in his foot.

Everton announced on Tuesday that Grealish has a foot injury, and further scans have confirmed he will miss an extended period.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the recovery time is estimated at three months, which is a significant setback for David Moyes’s team.

This season, Grealish has scored twice and assisted six goals in the Premier League after joining Everton on loan from Manchester City. Only Bruno Fernandes and Rayan Cherki have recorded more assists this season.

His injury also hampers his chances of making England’s squad for the 2026 World Cup. Grealish was seen discussing with Thomas Tuchel after Everton’s recent 1-0 victory against Aston Villa. He last played for England in October 2024 and will miss the upcoming March fixtures.

Earlier this week, Grealish expressed his wish to remain at Everton permanently after his loan ends in the summer. Everton has a £50m option to buy as part of the loan deal.

“I would love to stay after this loan — this place feels like home now,” he said.
