England’s international goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is about to sign a new contract. Insider Nicolò Schira reports that the 31-year-old is nearing an agreement with Everton.
Sources say that discussions are in the final stages. Pickford’s current contract lasts until June 30, 2027, but the club plans to extend it by one year, until the summer of 2028. Specific details have not been revealed, but it appears the goalkeeper has been offered better terms.
Pickford has been with the Toffees since the 2017/18 season. In that time, he has played 320 matches and achieved 89 clean sheets. Transfermarkt estimates his value at €18 million.
