Brazilian defender David Luiz, who is currently with Cypriot club Pafos and is a former Chelsea player, is involved in a controversy. He is accused of sending threatening messages to a woman, as reported by The Sun.

A Brazilian court has issued a restraining order against Luiz to protect 26-year-old Franziska Karolini Barbosa Cavalcante. She has told police that she received threatening messages from him on Instagram.

Franziska mentioned that they had spent time together at a hotel in Fortaleza. However, tensions rose after Luiz allegedly proposed a threesome.

After the argument, Luiz reportedly sent concerning messages, claiming he could harm Cavalcante’s son and that he could make her “simply disappear.” He also allegedly offered her £14,000 to remain quiet.

David Luiz denies these allegations, stating he did not meet Cavalcante or threaten her, although he does admit to messaging her on Instagram.
