Former Pirates defender picks out Mbokazi weakness
Tonic Chabalala, a former defender for the Orlando Pirates, is known for being the only player in Mzansi to handle the renowned striker Collins Mbesuma effectively.
The legend from Malamulele expressed his admiration for Mbokazi this season, especially highlighted during last Saturday’s Carling Knockout victory over Siwelele FC.
In that match, Chabalala observed a weakness in Mbokazi’s aerial skills.
“That boy has a bright future ahead if he stays humble,” Chabalala told KickOff. “In the game against Siwelele, I noticed some issues during his duels with Samir Nurkovic, who won most of the aerial contests.”

“There was a tough battle between him and Nurkovic, with Nurkovic winning two or three aerial balls. But apart from that, this young man is destined for more than just the season here in South Africa,” Chabalala added.
Mbokazi’s upcoming match for Pirates will be against Saint Eloi Lupopo in the CAF Champions League on Sunday, 19 October, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
