Eberechi Eze stated that Arsenal “know what we’re capable of” after their 4-1 victory over Tottenham in the Premier League.
Arsenal secured a decisive win in the North London derby, with Eze scoring twice. He added to his earlier hat-trick against Spurs by netting two goals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while Viktor Gyokeres also scored two for Arsenal.
This victory helped Arsenal recover from a difficult period, having drawn against Wolves midweek and dropped points in five of their last seven league games. The win has further strengthened their lead at the top of the league.
Reflecting on the match, Eze expressed confidence that the team is capable of winning trophies this season.
“Today it’s worked out, we thank God for it. We put in a good performance. We did what we needed to do today, which was the main thing,” Eze told Sky Sports.
“Yeah, for sure that’s the main thing (bouncing back from the Wolves draw). We know what we’re capable of. We have to play games to dominate and to win, and we’ve got the players in the team to do it. Important win for us and we keep going.
“I’m always trying to get in those positions to be ready and to find the space and to work hard to get those opportunities (to score). It takes a lot to get there and it’s worked out today.”
