Fabulous Felix Shines in Saudi Pro League Debut, Nets Hat-trick as Ronaldo’s Al Nassr Kicks Off with a Win

Al Nassr kicked off the season with an impressive 5-0 victory over Al Taawoun at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Buraidah on Friday. Joao Felix stood out, netting a hattrick in his first Saudi Pro League match.

Under new coach Jorge Jesus, Al Nassr showcased a refreshed attack featuring Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, and new additions Joao Felix and Kingsley Coman. Felix got things started with a powerful left-footed strike just seven minutes in.

Ronaldo doubled the lead by scoring from the penalty spot after Waleed Al-Ahmed handled the ball in the area. Coman followed up with a brilliant header a minute later, catching the Al Taawoun goalie off guard.

Felix then added his second with a stunning long-range shot. His final goal came somewhat by chance, as he seemed to misfire with only a defender in his way before the referee confirmed the ball had crossed the line.

This victory places Al Nassr at the top of the Saudi Pro League, signaling their strong intentions for the title this season.
