This visit is sure to generate discussion in Spain, but especially in Germany. It’s worth noting that Boateng aimed to return to Bayern Munich for a training stint as part of his coaching diploma, but fans of the Bavarian club strongly opposed this idea. As a result of the backlash, Bayern had to decline his return.
