Bruno Fernandes has praised Cole Palmer after his hat-trick for Chelsea this weekend.
The Manchester United captain commented on Palmer’s social media post, showing his admiration for the Chelsea midfielder.
Palmer scored a hat-trick on Saturday as Chelsea defeated Wolves 3-1. At 23, he became the first player in Premier League history to achieve three first-half hat-tricks and has now scored more hat-tricks for Chelsea (4) than any other player.
Palmer’s impressive performance and Fernandes’ praise come amid speculation that Manchester United is interested in signing the England international.
Having developed in Manchester City’s academy, there are reports suggesting that Palmer may consider a return to Manchester.
