Fewer than 10,000 Supporters Attend Match Against Angers

On Sunday, during the match between OGC Nice and Angers SCO, the Allianz Riviera appeared nearly empty. Due to the ongoing internal crisis and the boycott of the Populaire Sud stands, the venue didn’t fill up. The Allianz Riviera, which can accommodate over 34,000 spectators, was expected to see fewer than 10,000 attendees that afternoon.

“I don’t have much to say; it’s a tough period. It will be up to us on the field to encourage those who love the club to come back. Obviously, this is not a situation anyone wants to experience. Change won’t happen overnight,” responded Franck Haise, reflecting on the empty stadium before the kickoff.
