Paris Saint-Germain got the job done against Inter Miami, handing Lionel Messi and company a brutal defeat to advance at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. This result now requires to take an updated look at the knockout stage bracket.

With their win over the Herons, PSG have clinched a spot in the tournament quarterfinals. Now, the French side is waiting for the winner of Bayern Munich – Flamengo to know its next opponent.

The reigning UEFA Champions League winners will now get many days to rest and prepare for the game, as their quarterfinal clash will take place on Saturday, July 5, at 12 PM (ET).

PSG won’t even need to travel, as their quarterfinal will be held at the same venue where they thrashed Messi’s Inter Miami. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, will be home to PSG’s next game.

Other teams qualified for the Club World Cup quarterfinals

Palmeiras were the first team to seal a place in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 quarterfinals thanks to their dramatic win over Botafogo in extra time to open the round of 16 on Saturday.

A few hours later, Chelsea also needed to go to extra time to defeat Benfica, setting up a quarterfinal meeting against Palmeiras for Friday, July 4, at 9 PM (ET) at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

With PSG now among the final eight as well, the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 bracket is getting interesting. Only time will tell us which team makes it all the way to the promised land.
