Leading sports journalist Marcus Mergullo has revealed that Kerala Blasters will take a final decision on the coach and the signing will be completed in two to three days. Although he did not reveal the name of the coach, the name of a Spanish coach is emerging as the new coach.
According to a report by All India Football, the Blasters have finalised the appointment of Spanish coach David Doniga. Doniga is a 43-year-old Spaniard.
But he doesn’t have a great track record as a manager. He was last in charge of El Salvador.
He spent most of his coaching career, which began in 2004, as an assistant coach. He became a head coach for the first time in 2021. He has coached small countries and clubs in Latin America.
At the moment, Doniga is the only name emerging as a possible coach. Looking at his statistics, fans are praying that Doniga does not arrive.
