The first images of the official match ball for the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been released. The ball, created by adidas, is named Trionda.
This ball has a white base with accents in red, green, and blue, representing the three host nations: the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The colors include lively patterns that reflect the culture and symbolism of these countries. The adidas logo is placed on the red panel, while the FIFA World Cup emblem is on the blue panel. The name Trionda combines “Tri” for the three countries and “Onda,” meaning “wave” in Spanish and Portuguese.
Footy Headlines reports that the leaked images display the final version of the ball, with the official announcement expected in October.
