Fluminense has received an official proposal from Lazuli Partners and LZ Sports to become a Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF), according to O Globo. Club president Mário Bittencourt confirmed that this offer will be presented to the board and members for their consideration.

“We got the proposal today and will present it for analysis. It is important to respect the members and fans of Fluminense. We are at a critical juncture, and our goal is to ensure the tricolores have a say in the future of the club,” Bittencourt said.

The plan includes around 6 billion reais in investments over the coming years, focusing on new player signings and upgrading the Xerém training facility. André Esteves, owner of BTG bank, is one of the fund’s supporters.
