Dejan Milovanović, former captain of Crvena Zvezda, died on the evening of September 16 in Belgrade at 42 years old.
Details: During a veterans’ match, he scored a goal in the 7th minute. Shortly after, he collapsed while preparing for a corner kick.
Medical staff quickly arrived and resuscitated him before he was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, reports indicate that Milovanović suffered a second cardiac arrest, which was fatal.
Reminder: Notably, boxer Ricky Hatton also passed away at the age of 46.
