Just six months ago, Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos made headlines by continuing his career in Mexico with Monterrey, quickly becoming the team captain. His impact was expected to be on the field, but he surprised many by venturing into the music industry.

On Saturday, the Spanish player announced on social media that he will release his debut single as a singer. The song, titled Cibeles, is named after the famous plaza in Madrid where he celebrated numerous victories with Real Madrid. It will be accompanied by a music video showcasing moments from his time at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

The release is set for Sunday, August 31, at 7 p.m. local Spanish time. Ramos previewed the project with the caption: “Mi historia, mi música” (“My story, my music”).
