Francesco Totti’s son retires at 19

Cristian Totti, son of the undisputed international football legend and AS Roma star Francesco Totti, has decided to retire from the sport at just 19 years old. The young Italian will leave the sport after his final match in the Olbia jersey in Serie D, having previously played for the youth teams of Roma, Frosinone and Rayo Vallecano, as well as Avezzano for a short time.

During his time in Olbia, Cristian Totti was constantly in the spotlight and faced high expectations and often unfair criticism, particularly regarding his physical condition, which was frequently the subject of criticism on social media. He has therefore decided to pursue a career off the pitch while remaining in the football world. He has joined the ‘Totti Soccer School’, which was founded by his father and is run by his older brother, Riccardo. There, he will assist general manager Claudio D’Ulisse in identifying new talent.
