Franck Haise’s Impactful Media Appearance Discussing Jonathan Clauss

Jonathan Clauss, who played a key role in Rennes’ 2-1 victory against Nice, faced an injury due to a knee hyperextension and was substituted at halftime. Ahead of the match against Lille, coach Franck Haise updated the media about Clauss’s condition during a press conference, noting that he did not practice with the team on Tuesday afternoon.

Haise stated, “There is nothing too serious, so we will see how he is doing. It didn’t even require extensive examinations. What’s certain is that if he’s absent for several weeks, it won’t be because of the knee.” He also addressed rumors about tensions within the team, saying, “There are things that do and do not come out from us, and that bothers me.” It’s worth noting that Clauss was close to leaving Nice last summer to join Leverkusen.
