An unusual choice from the supporters.
Fulham fans voted for a strike as their Goal of the Month, even though it was disallowed after a VAR review.
Details: In the third round of the Premier League, Chelsea faced Fulham and secured a 2-0 victory. However, it was Fulham who scored first. In the 21st minute, Joshua King found the back of the net, but VAR ruled the goal out.
Despite this, 83.1% of the fans still chose King’s effort as the best goal of the month.
Fulham’s next match is against Leeds on Saturday, September 13, with kick-off at 16:00 CET. The team is currently in 18th place on the table, having earned just two points from three games.
Reminder: PGMOL chief Howard Webb has acknowledged that disallowing Joshua King’s goal in the first half was a clear mistake.
