The deal might be completed as soon as next week.
The choice is now up to the Amakhosi management.
Details: Reports from IdiskiTimes state that 31-year-old striker Tashreeq Morris from Kaizer Chiefs is drawing interest from Durban City.
Head coach Gavin Hunt of Durban City is particularly keen on bringing Morris into his team quickly.
Morris joined the Chiefs as a free agent from SuperSport United in January but has appeared in 10 matches without scoring or assisting. He has not secured a consistent position in the starting lineup and was informed he is not in the club’s future plans.
Tashreeq Morris’s contract with the Chiefs runs until 2026, and his market value according to Transfermarkt is 300,000 euros.
Durban City is looking to boost their attacking options after relying on players like Joslin Kamatuka and Jean Lwamba in the season’s early games.
This season, City has made various signings to strengthen Hunt’s squad following their promotion to the top division.
Reminder: Siwelele has added former Kaizer Chiefs player Tebogo Potsane to their roster for solid reinforcement!
