Gennaro Gattuso is poised to take on a new challenge in his coaching career, as reports indicate his potential appointment as the manager of Torino FC.
According to respected journalist Nicolo Schira, Torino’s management is currently engaged in talks with the former Italy national team coach. Gattuso has emerged as a leading candidate for the position, following a personal recommendation from the club’s sporting director, Gianluca Petrachi.
The discussions between the two parties have reached an advanced stage, with Gattuso reportedly offered a contract lasting until 2028, along with an option for an extension and a salary of €1.5 million per year.
Gattuso’s most recent role was with the Italy national team, where he faced disappointment after failing to secure World Cup qualification, losing to Bosnia and Herzegovina in a pivotal match.
