In an interview with La Provence, the winger from USL Dunkerque shared that he was not prepared for the overwhelming support upon returning to Morocco: “When I was at the World Cup, I didn’t think there would be this excitement. I figured not many Moroccans would watch the competition. But honestly, when we returned to Morocco, there must have been 10,000 to 15,000 people in Rabat. It was truly incredible. Everyone was behind us. They knew our first names and last names.”
