He left his mark on many.

On September 4, the world lost renowned Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani at the age of 92. Armani’s talent extended beyond suits; he designed clothing for several football teams. The Footem team invites you to consider the legacy this iconic designer has created in the football world.

Juventus (2025)

Two weeks before his death, a partnership was announced with Juventus. Armani was set to create a casual wear collection for the Turin club, serving as their official lifestyle partner until 2027.

Italy national team (2019)

The Armani brand designed suits for players and staff of the Italian national teams. The collection featured suits, coats, shirts, shoes, and accessories, all marked with the federation’s emblem.

Bayern Munich (2014)

Bayern Munich also requested a similar collection in 2014. Armani provided suits and travel outfits for the players and executives. The club sported classic blue Armani suits during official events and Champions League matches.

Chelsea (2007)

From 2007 to 2009, Armani curated official business attire for Chelsea’s directors and executives, regularly updating the “Blues” management’s wardrobe.

England national team (2003-2006)

Armani focused on the England national team, dressing them in stylish off-field outfits for Euro 2004 and the 2006 World Cup. The team’s sharp looks received as much attention as their performance in matches.

Piacenza (2003)

Italian club Piacenza was one of the first teams to collaborate with Armani. While it went unnoticed at the time, it marked the designer’s entry into the football industry.

Bonus: Napoli (since 2021)

Napoli stands out as they were the pioneers to hire Armani for both off-field suits and match kits. This partnership resulted in the limited edition Diego Maradona jersey.
