FC Goa has advanced to the final of the AIFF Super Cup 2025-26 after securing a 2-1 victory against Mumbai City FC in the semi-final. Goa will now compete against East Bengal in the final, which is scheduled to be held at the Fatorda Stadium in Goa.
Goa established an early lead with goals from Brison Fernandes in the 20th minute and David Timor just three minutes later. The team capitalized on defensive errors from Mumbai to score.
Mumbai City mounted a strong challenge in the second half. Although Lallianzuala Chhangte missed a penalty, Brandon Fernandes scored a goal for Mumbai in the 59th minute. However, crucial saves by Goa’s goalkeeper, Hrithik Tiwari, helped maintain their lead. This is FC Goa’s third consecutive appearance in the Super Cup final.
The final is set for December 7. East Bengal secured their spot in the final after defeating Punjab FC 3-1.
