Women’s football has reached new financial heights.
This showcases the growing recognition of women’s talent in football.
Details: As reported by Marca, PSG’s midfielder Grace Geyoro is expected to join London City soon for a remarkable €1.6 million, setting a new record in women’s football.
The transfer negotiations were directly managed by Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Michele Kang, owner of the London club.
Previously, the record was held by Lizbeth Ovalle, who transferred from Tigres in Mexico to Orlando Pride for €1.3 million.
Grace Geyoro spent thirteen years at Paris Saint-Germain, with eleven years as a key player, winning three French Cups and one domestic league title. She also claimed the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship.
Reminder: Noteworthy. Serena Williams’ husband has made a significant investment in Chelsea‘s women’s team.
