Lucas Chevalier suffered a heavy tackle from Lamine Camara during PSG’s 1-0 defeat to Monaco on Saturday, but there seems to be encouraging news. After being treated by the Parisian medical staff on-site following the injury to his right ankle, the French goalkeeper left the Louis-II stadium with noticeable swelling and a limp; however, this is not expected to affect his participation in the upcoming match against Rennes in Ligue 1, according to L’Équipe.
The goalkeeper will be granted some rest by Luis Enrique while continuing his recovery in the coming days. As a precaution, he might miss a training session or two, but there is no expectation of any prolonged absence for the French player. It’s worth noting that PSG will resume training on Wednesday.
