Rodri needs time.

After missing most of last season due to injury, Rodri has returned to the field. Pep Guardiola believes the midfielder will find his form and perform well.

Details: The Spanish manager is optimistic that Rodri will be fully prepared for the 2026 World Cup, where he will demonstrate his skills. Guardiola expects next season to reveal the best version of Rodri, depending on his recovery progress.

Quote: “Rodri will be good at the 2026 World Cup with Spain, and next season he will be the best Rodri. This season, it all depends on how he adjusts, step by step. That’s normal. He spent a year on the massage table. The body changes, the rhythm changes,” Guardiola said.

This season, Rodri has appeared in six matches for Manchester City and twice for the Spanish national team.

Reminder: Recently, Rodri experienced knee pain, informed the coach, and missed the Premier League match against Burnley.
