Norwegian striker Erling Haaland is making history in European football. In the FA Cup quarterfinal, he scored a hat-trick against Liverpool, leading Manchester City to a decisive win.

This hat-trick was Haaland’s 12th since he joined City in July 2022. He now holds the record for the most hat-tricks in Europe’s top five leagues, surpassing Harry Kane, who has 11 during the same timeframe.

Haaland’s performance against Liverpool is noteworthy; in his last three matches against them, he has scored five goals, highlighting his challenge to the Merseyside defense.
