Erling Haaland was not included in the Man City squad for the match against Leeds United on Saturday due to a minor injury.
The Norway international was unexpectedly absent from the starting lineup for the match at Elland Road and did not travel with the team.
Omar Marmoush started in Haaland’s position after the striker sustained an injury during training this week.

Before the match, City manager Pep Guardiola stated that Haaland’s injury is “not a big issue,” but he was not fit to play against Leeds.
“Two days ago in training, he had some problems and a minor injury,” he told Sky Sports. “Not a big issue, but not ready for today.
“We are missing one top striker and are playing with another top striker.”
Former Norway forward and reporter Jan Aage Fjortoft suggested that the 25-year-old might return to action as soon as next Wednesday when City hosts Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium.
