Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has joined the Norwegian national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Before the break, he shared a message with City fans on his Instagram.
Haaland posted several images from City matches, saying: “The fight continues after the break. Thanks for the travelling support, as always 🙏🏻.” He assured fans that the team is prepared to keep competing, despite some recent disappointing outcomes.
In recent weeks, City has lost their last two Premier League matches against Tottenham and Brighton. After three games, the team has only collected 3 points and is currently 13th in the standings.
On a positive note, Haaland has performed well, scoring three goals in the first three matches.
After the international break, Manchester City will face their rivals, United, in the derby on September 14 at the Etihad Stadium.
